WINTER SOLSTICE CELBRATION
Join Vicky Manning The Little Foragers Kitchen for this festive celebration
Come and celebrate the winter solstice, the way our ancestors would have, right here at Paula's Place!
Celebrate the Winter Solstice by wildcrafting edible and medicinal wreaths, eating wild food, decorating the Yule log, sitting in circle around the fire and setting intentions.

Wreaths represent the circle of life, the eternal loop of life and death. They are traditionally made at celebrations and hung over door ways and windows to repel negative forces and invite positive ones.

The burning of the Yule log represents the return of the sun. Each year, families would celebrate with gift exchanges, merriment, feasting and spiritual reflection. This is a time of rebirth, new beginnings, transformation, getting rid of old habits and creativity.
This event will be held both indoors and out. We shall wildcraft our wreaths and Yule log in the comfort and warmth of Paula's Place, a beautiful home in Taynuilt, Argyll, for spiritual retreats.
